ADA Service

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires public transit agencies to provide accessible bus service to persons with disabilities.  All DuFAST vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lifts.  DuFAST provides paratransit service to individuals who are located within two (2) blocks of the fixed route service area.  This service is provided only if you have a disability that prevents you from using a Fixed Route bus. 

If you believe you may be eligible for Paratransit service an application must be completed and a physician must certify that you are not able to access the fixed route due to a disability.  It can be obtained by calling, writing, or stopping at the DuFAST Transit office.  If you are eligible, you will receive a Complementary Paratransit Card.

The base fare for DuFAST is $1.00.  $2.00 will be charged for ADA passenger who are within 3/4 mile corridor.
